We finished up the week with speeches on insects a We finished up the week with speeches on insects and whether we’re more like our beneficial insects friends or if we’re more like a pest to the garden. Both are important and all have there place. We really learned it’s all about balance and both are important. A special thanks to our fearless beekeeper (Vanessa Mitchell Thompson) for taking time to check on one of our hives then joining in the fun to speak with the youth about the benefits of bees in the garden. The youth loved it, me too!#growcityyouth #thefruitfulfield #patriciadaviscommunitygarden #thejimmoranfoundation #pompanobeachcra The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation
