Unidentified Stinkbugs

Stinkbugs are rather common at the Fruitful Field and are particularly damaging.  Despite their name I have never actually noticed a stink coming from them but have heard that it does happen when they are smashed.  The bugs in the picture here have not been identified, but their look and body shape is typical for stinkbugs.

The stinkbug damages plants by sucking its juices out of the leaves, stems or fruit.

These bugs are usually large enough that they can be pulled off and smashed or drowned in soapy water.  However, if a spray is desired NEEM or other agricultural oils should work.
