Gearing up for our big Planting Season 2012-2013

For South Florida the big season for vegetables and herbs is winter: September through May–not the usual summer of May through September “up north”!

We are really excited about this coming season!

Our 10′ X 10′ Community plots have their highest subscriber level yet with families out gardening on an almost daily basis.

Our “Super Plots” on the south end are gearing up as well– we now have an Large garden plot intern, Mari Carl Duffer, and her efforts are already paying off as we plant our newly formed and  irrigated raised beds with all kinds of vegetable seedlings from our plant nursery.
