Tea and Workday 2012

Tea in the Garden 2012 – A Beautiful Community Event!

A Big Thank You to everyone who came out and supported Tea in the Garden 2012! We had 112 people attend, 27 table hostesses and 34 other volunteers who greeted and took care of everyone who attended.

The event had good weather, wonderful live music, and lots of delicious fare! Everyone enjoyed organic tea thanks to Whole Foods Market of Coral Springs, homemade scones & breads, tea sandwiches, and Pure Dark chocolate from Mars, Inc.  Tours moved regularly around the 6-acre property, learning about what TFF does to reach out and build community. During the Program our speakers shared on the importance of Grow, Gather and Give as together we grow healthy food, gather a network of connections, and give through volunteering and making donations for specific projects.  All this helps us take big steps to reach our goals!

Donations continue to come in and you are still welcome to contribute via the website or mail–we will keep you updated once final numbers are calculated. We are already moving on one of the projects!
