First Saturday in October– Community gardeners

It’s the first Saturday of the month so it must be Community Plot Day! Come work on your Garden Plot and enjoy lemongrass tea, Florida Gardening books to reference, and a chance to meet your garden ‘neighbors’.  

Next Volunteer Workday– the 3rd Saturday: Sept 15th

Help us from 9:00 to 12:00pm Saturday September 15th.

Among the projects:

  • Back super plots: construct more raised bed
  • Front Food Pantry Plot Clean Up
  • Fig cutting transplants

Where: The Fruitful Field Community Garden
Provided: Supervised Projects, snacks and light garden lunch, cold water, lemongrass tea and a feeling of accomplishment in the Garden
Bring: Work gloves!!!!, sun protector, a hat, closed-toe shoes
