The Fruitful Field 23-24 Season
We thank you for a successful growing season. Your support provided thousands of pounds of fresh nutrient, nutrient-dense produce to food-insecure communities across Broward County. We expanded our fields by 30% and repaired our well and irrigation (thanks to Allini Water Filters). With the help of a dedicated Homeschool team, we added QR codes that allow visitors to take self-guided tours. They also finished building our “Grounding Path.” The Fruitful Field team expanded our Market activities to include Lauderdale by the Sea and Jack and Jill Children’s Center. We are working with the City of Dania Beach to bring fresh produce and educational opportunities to the Dania Beach PATCH. We introduced the FRESH FOOD BOX program at our sister site, The Patricia Davis Community Garden in Pompano Beach. We will post our 24-25 seasonal calendar shortly. Let us know about vegetables and fruits you want us to grow or workshops and activities you want to participate in.
