Garden Meeting this April 11th at 7:00 pm

It has been an exciting winter with lots going on in the Garden: Planting, harvesting, building and raising funds for new projects! The Fruitful Field is based on the participation of a variety of people with an abundance of talents coming together to make both

Just because it’s a weekday doesn’t mean great stuff doesn’t get done. Here are some volunteer highlights from the week. Chris fixed and revamped our irrigation system– better pressure means better watered plants and less water wasted. George and Will continued work on the Tea 

Tree Planting March 19- Photo Highlights

Our Tree day was good. Perfect weather and a variety of trees to plant, move and generally take care of as we keep making our Food Forest a place for future generations. Since The Fruitful Field sits on 6 acres of land we are doing our best to fill it with all kinds of edibles, both short and tall!

Your Tea is Served

Tomorrow February 26th is our 2nd Annual Tea in the Garden! As you can see we are busy getting ready–including putting up a new arbor. See you tomorrow in the Garden–and bring your friends to Tea in the Garden!

Garden Workday 1/8/2011

Thank you volunteers for another great day of planting food pantry plots, seeding new legumes, mulching, rock moving and generally soaking in the sunshine and crystal clear air of a South Florida winter day.  Thanks for making The Fruitful Field a place of abundance.
