Deck the Plots and Trim the Boughs–Holiday Workday Saturday Dec 11th

Sun and good weather keep The Fruitful Field plants and trees growing fast whether humans are busy with holiday parties or not…..!

…they need our help! Come enjoy some holiday digging, planting and trimming Saturday Dec 11th from 9am-12pm!
We will have holiday snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic), deck the food pantry plots with more veggies, and ‘trim’ the fruit trees permaculture-style–ready for the next growing season!
When: Saturday December 11th from 9:00am to 12:00pm
Where: The Fruitful Field
Provided: Supervised Projects, holiday snacks, cold water, holiday tea and a feeling of accomplishment in the Garden
Bring: Work gloves, sun protector, a hat, closed-toe shoes, a digging implement

First Fall Food Pantry Food delivered
On October 26th we took our first batch of the season’s food to Blessings Food Pantry in Pompano Beach, FL. Daikon, green beans, star fruit and lots of juicy Meyers lemons!
Great Fall Celebration
The sun bright, the breeze mellow, the food good, the bananas ripe and lots of activities for kids and adults. (185+ folks and 35 volunteers- yay!)
